Jets Looking to Gain Homefield Advantage

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The Jets have been a fairly good home team under Rex Ryan. In his five seasons at the helm, they only have had a losing home record once. There have also been some memorable wins, perhaps none more than his first home game as Jets head coach. Rex's talk got the fans to turn out in force and made the old stadium a wall of noise in a surprise victory over the Patriots.

I really like the touch the Jets added this year. With Fireman Ed gone, the Jets are letting eight season ticket holders lead the J-E-T-S cheer. It's a cool little way for the team to acknowledge some of its most loyal fans.

We have a big game coming up Monday. The boys are coming off a rough loss so if you're going, give them all the support you can. Make it so loud that Jay Cutler won't be able to hear himself think.
