Carr was a second round pick out of Fresno State in May. His brother David is a former top overall pick of the Texans and also played for the Panthers, 49ers, and Giants in an NFL career that spanned from 2002 to 2012.
We talked a little earlier today about how Rex Ryan defenses have fared against rookie quarterbacks during the coach's time with the Jets. Even with the question marks at secondary, this is a difficult scheme for a quarterback to face in his first NFL start. The Jets' secondary could stand to build a little confidence before facing a difficult stretch of passing offenses.
