Per deadspin, the New York Jets average home ticket price is $182. Most of the seats are $50 or $90, in the upper bowl, but the high costs of sitting close to the field increase the average. What's particularly interesting is that number is exactly average among all teams in the National Football League. The team is, in fact, #16 in the league. So while we rightly complain that ticket prices cost too much for the average fan, and they do, it's important to keep that in context. That context, of course, is that things could be a heck of a lot worse. Take a look at the rest of the article and let us know if you see anything else noteworthy.
