There was some very good news at training camp today. First round safety Calvin Pryor has been cleared for contact after suffering a concussion last weekend.
Jets clarify that Calvin Pryor has been cleared for physical contact. Started today with red jersey on, then passed test to be cleared.

Like we've been saying all camp, Pryor has a lot to learn. The safety position comes with many diverse roles and responsibilities in this defense. Pryor and the Jets are in a race against time to teach him as much as possible before the season starts so that he can play as much as possible and make as big of an impact as possible.
It's good to see he is back. Getting back onto the field in the red no contact jersey was an encouraging sign, and now it seems like he is all of the way.
