The preseason finale is just one day away. Soon we will know whether the Jets or the Eagles have bragging rights over having better fringe players in preseason.
Things are always eventful with the Jets. Yesterday Dimitri Patterson's suspension was given parameters. He will be required to sit out the rest of the preseason and will be eligible to return to the team on September 1. What will happen at that point is anybody's guess. The same goes for Stephen Hill. The third year receiver figured to be on the bubble, and a report yesterday that the Jets tried to trade him over the summer sheds light that team management has likely run out of patience for the underperforming Georgia Tech product.
