The Jets are just a couple of days from their preseason finale against the Eagles. It will be the last chance for players on the bubble to make an impression on the coaching staff.

As the Jets continue to prepare, the strange story of Dimitri Patterson continues to gain headlines. Yesterday the team suspended the cornerback indefinitely for spending days away from the team without permission. Patterson denied he did this yesterday, which is odd since John Idzik announced it to the world Sunday with no provocation. No matter what happens, Patterson's days with the Jets might be numbered. We will have to see how things develop today.
