This is really bad timing for a rookie fighting to claim one of the last roster spots. The last chance to make an impression is this week.
I am hoping the Jets keep IK around. I wasn't particularly high on him in the Draft. I'm still far from sold that he has a big future in this league after making some plays against bottom tier competition. I do think he has earned the right to try and develop his game in practice, though, and get some work on special teams. This is the type of player on whom a team should use one of its final spots.
