Jalen Saunders has been cleared to play.
Rex says docs cleared Saunders, "so he'll be ready to roll." Expects Saunders to play a lot on Thursday.

This is really nice news for the rookie who has missed time due to an undisclosed and seemingly unknown medical condition.
Saunders will have to play catch up. The missed time might cost him any shot he had of getting playing time on offense early in the year, but he will have a shot to make an impact as a punt returner. Jacoby Ford's departure gives him a clearer path to try and get that job. His first work running back punts was not particularly impressive. He twice broke the cardinal rule of never going backwards, but certainly we will need to see more than that to properly evaluate what Saunders can do in the return game.
