Today is the final scheduled open practice in training camp. The Jets head out to a third venue, Hofstra University, for their Long Island fans for a walkthrough in preparation for tomorrow night's game against the Giants.
Long Island probably has the largest concentration of Jets fan anywhere due to the team's roots out there so it's nice to see them at least get a night. There are whispers the Jets might move their training camp out there next year, which would be a nice touch for those folks. Many on Long Island have been upset the team has not done more to reach out to fans there.
The practice isn't scheduled until this evening, but we will put this thread up early so you can talk Jets during the day. Should any news break, the glory of our Twitter widget will capture it with the tweets of the main beat writers.
