I pose this question to you today. In your fantasy football league do you plan on drafting a Jets running back?
I am not. On the Jets' first depth chart, they had Chris Ivory, Chris Johnson, and Bilal Powell all listed on the first string. This seems to indicate they want to utilize all three. A big part of fantasy production for backs is volume. It is difficult to put up yardage if a back is splitting carries with another. Dividing that pot into three compounds the problem.
This strategy might allow all of the backs to avoid a pounding and stay fresh, helping a real football team, but it is bad news for a fantasy owner.
What do you think?
