Jets rookie wide receiver Shaq Evans' season is over as he had shoulder surgery today.

It was a rough start to Evans' career. He was forced to miss offseason events because of a bizarre rule, and never seemed to catch up from losing those critical reps.
From what we have heard, The Big Aristotle would have had an uphill battle to make the Jets final roster. Now at least he can get healthy, do some studying, and come back next year stronger. I'm not ready to give up on him. The fourth round is a spot where a team can get a quality piece but not necessarily a day one starter.
