The weather conditions today in Cortland were less than ideal. This gave the Jets a chance to get some work in bad weather. There might be some rainy Sunday's this fall so simulating those conditions can't hurt. You might remember the struggles Mark Sanchez had his rookie year in rainy conditions because he was not used to them.
Geno Smith completed 5 of 11 passes today, presuming team periods are done. Three of his six incomplete passes were Stephen Hill drops.

To invoke one of my least favorite people in football, unfortunately it is what it is with Hill. This might only be training camp, but you never want to see a guy fall back into bad habits.
Then there's this:
Rex notes that Vick was more effected by the conditions than Geno who was very much on point with his throws in the rain and wind. #NYJ
