The score doesn't matter in preseason so why not test Allen out against Green? It should provide a pretty conclusive result as to how far along Allen is and whether this experiment is worth continuing. If he can hold his own against Green, it would be a major statement.
I'm not expecting much. We are talking about a guy whose weak point is pass coverage and has never played corner at this level going up against one of the top five receivers in the league. We'll see, though. Maybe Allen can use his size to play physical ball and disrupt receivers.
