The Jets had been giving Geno Smith approximately three quarters of their first team reps in practice. Today he got all of them.
QB rep split today: Smith 16, Vick 0. Total stats: Smith 2-for-3. Vick 3-for-4, 1 TD, 1 sack (with 2nd team). #nyj

It's no secret that the Jets want Geno to win the starting job, but I get the feeling people are going to read too much into stuff like this. As the younger, less experienced quarterback, the reps will be more beneficial for him than the veteran Michael Vick.
Geno has to make it through camp and the preseason and display play that is consistently on a much higher level than he displayed last year. If he starts showing some of the troubling signs of 2013, there is a real possibility of Vick taking the job. They won't really have much of a choice. The Jets are going to give Geno every chance to earn it, though.
