Interceptions seemed to be the theme of the day in Cortland.
Simms is picked off by Lankster on a tipped ball. Now every QB has thrown an INT today.

Practice over bad day for the second practice in a row for the Offense. Defense looks spectacular. Recap coming a little bit later.

Can't tell if this offense is struggling or this defense is that good #jets

So in good news, it sounds like the Jets' defense is firing at the level we have come to expect in the Rex Ryan Era. In bad news, it sounds like the Jets' offense is firing at the level we have come to expect in the Rex Ryan Era.
Of course this is all practice so it would not be wise to read too much into it. My big takeaway is the continued issues Tajh Boyd is reportedly having. It seems like few reports about the rookie class have been good at this point in camp, but Boyd is apparently having significant issues so far adjusting to life as a pro. Beating out Matt Simms didn't seem like a daunting task. It is still very early, and there remains plenty of time to turn things around. With that said, Boyd might not make the team unless things pick up.
