It sounds like the defense had its way today in Cortland.
Phone died. Dominant day for the defense. Geno/Vick couldn't get much going and Simms/Boyd were both really bad. #NYJ

Ryan was particularly upset with the offense, which really struggled to move the ball in team drills.
....
"It just had a different feel to it," Ryan said. "We had a lot of three-and-outs at the end there when we were trying to move the ball. It just wasn’t sharp. Especially offensively it wasn’t as sharp as what we’ve seen out here the other days. Obviously, we have to get better there."
Some of the offensive problems came from the defense blitzing like crazy in the practice. They struggled in pass protection.
One might expect the defense to be ahead of the offense, particularly with the offensive line still needing time to gel.
