Jason Babin gets $3.25M over two years with the Jets. Has a base salary of $1.1M in 2014, with another $500k available via roster bonuses.

The contract details are in, and the Jason Babin signing looks like another cheap deal for the New York Jets. John Idzik sure does love these two-year deals. As a 10+ year veteran, Babin was entitled to a minimum of $955,000 this year and $970,000 next year. He will get slightly more than that in guaranteed money. Last year, Babin had 7.5 sacks as a starter for the Jacksonville Jaguars, but will likely be a reserve pass rusher in New York. His job: kill the quarterback.
