New York Jets: No Practice Today

Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Today is a scheduled day off for the Jets. There will be no practice today. Training camp will resume 10:00 a.m. tomorrow in Cortland.

It was a bit of a rough weekend for the Jets. Their top two Draft picks got hurt. Calvin Pryor suffered a concussion Saturday, and Jace Amaro sustained a minor knee injury on Sunday.

In other news, Geno Smith is off to a strong start to camp and is getting the bulk of the reps with the first team offense. The job figures to be his to lose, but we still have not even gotten to preseason games. One thing that seems clear is Michael Vick starting Week 1 against the Raiders will probably mean Geno has lost the job more than Vick has won it.

Free agent signings Chris Johnson and Eric Decker are reportedly off to strong starts.

Antwan Barnes remains on the PUP list.

Feel free to use this thread to talk about camp so far and looking to the future.
