Oday Aboushi Shines Early in Training Camp

Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Coming into this offseason, I don't think anybody really expected much of Oday Aboushi. After struggling last year in the preseason, many have written him off. With Willie Colon starting training camp unable to play, although he's now healthy, Aboushi was penciled in as a starting guard. So far, so good.

It is, of course, still early in training camp and we'll know a lot more after a few preseason games. However, it's good to see that Aboushi isn't overwhelmed against some very good defensive linemen. Who knows, maybe the New York Jets found a gem.
