Jets Training Camp Thread 7/25

New, comments
Noah K. Murray-USA TODAY Sports

The Jets hold their second day of practices in preparation for the 2014 NFL season today.

On day one, reports indicate Geno Smith had a strong outing. As was expected, he got the bulk of reps with the first team offense and performed well. Chris Johnson and Eric Decker were among others said to have a strong first day of work.

Today Jason Babin might make his first appearance. He has officially signed his contract. Jeff Cumberland also might make his 2014 debut. He has not been seen yet. The team has stated it is aware of Cumberland's absence and that he has been out for personal reasons. Who knows? Maybe Chris Ivory will even make his debut. He missed time yesterday with a minor hamstring issue.
