Jets Tweets
Don't want another Amaro argument w/@lateroundQB. But if we're using history w/rookie at pos, it works out to 52% of last yr college catches
— Michael Salfino (@MichaelSalfino) July 14, 2014
What I did was look at top 50 drafted TEs since 2007. It was 4.05 rec/gm in college vs. 2.13 rec/gm as rookies — 52%. So Amaro: 54.7 recs.
— Michael Salfino (@MichaelSalfino) July 14, 2014
The leap I'm making with Amaro is that college production matters in translating to the pros in the slot, especially. We'll see.
— Michael Salfino (@MichaelSalfino) July 14, 2014
Observation: most who are predicting Vick as season-opening QB have spent ZERO time around #NYJ since the new year arrived. Just saying...
— Chris Lopresti (@CLoprestiWFAN) July 14, 2014
Geno Smith would have to be abducted by aliens after being awful in the preseason not to start Week 1. #Jets
— Jeff Capellini (@GreenLanternJet) July 14, 2014
Plaxico Burress predicted on NFL Live that @MikeVick will be the Jets starting QB in Week 1.
— NFL on ESPN (@ESPNNFL) July 14, 2014
There's only one place to go for the keenest in Jets personnel insight, and that's Plaxico Burress.
— Bart Hubbuch (@HubbuchNYP) July 14, 2014
Add Jets K Nick Folk to that list, with Graham and Clady ... So three of 12 franchised tagged players in 2013-14 have gotten long-term deals

Look who I found Jets fans! Remember when he was supposed to save our #Jets from Sanchez disaster? pic.twitter.com/7iIFrN20ES

Revis tried the highest paid non-QB player route with the #jets and never came close. Got it iwith Bucs and was released in 1 year

Most catches for a 1st down on 3rd & 10+, 2013 Josh Gordon - 8 Antonio Brown - 8 Jeremy Kerley - 8 (Huh?) #Geno @fbgchase
— Scott Kacsmar (@FO_ScottKacsmar) July 16, 2014
This isn't adjusted for kneel downs, but the Jets were 2nd in the league at converting on 3rd & 10+. They truly did well. @KidArcola
— Scott Kacsmar (@FO_ScottKacsmar) July 16, 2014
Even Santonio Holmes had 5 with just 23 catches all year.
— Scott Kacsmar (@FO_ScottKacsmar) July 16, 2014
Geno Smith's rookie season was like the poorest man in the world's version of 2012 Luck (GWDs/3rd&long/vertical/turnovers/ugly losses).
— Scott Kacsmar (@FO_ScottKacsmar) July 16, 2014
3 years in a row teams had their season end after missing a clutch FG vs. Steelers 2004 NYJ (D.Brien) 2005 IND (Vandy) 2006 CIN (Graham)
— Scott Kacsmar (@FO_ScottKacsmar) July 16, 2014
Agreed MT @TurnOnTheJets: Random #Jets WR prediction: Nelson plays more reps, catches more passes and has more rec. yards than Hill in 2014

With the NFL Draft moving out of New York, who will boo all the Jets picks? Oh, everyone? Carry on then.
— Dan Kadar (@MockingTheDraft) July 18, 2014
Geno Smith had the lowest passer rating in the NFL. Mark Sanchez was was less than 0.2 away from having the lowest in 2012.
— Football Perspective (@fbgchase) July 18, 2014
David Nelson saying Geno Smith improved once he forced teams out of Tampa-2 by running with the ball more later in the year. Interesting.

#Jets will be a playoff team if they can get just halfway decent QB play. Ferocious D, solid O-line and running game, better WR/TE

"I'm hoping for a solid 8-8 season, nothing too flashy. Probably gonna lose 2 to Mr. Belichick." - what Jets fans apparently want Rex to say
— Mike Donnelly (@TheMikeDonnelly) July 20, 2014
Rex is starting to sound repetitive but its better than being a fake personality that everyone hated him for last year
