The New York Jets have ten organized team activities this offseason, six of which have already occurred. Three of these ten are open to the media, two of which have already happened. Today begins the last four days of OTAs, from June 9 to 12. These events have been optional, although almost everyone on the team has attended.
The next part of the schedule is the mandatory mini-camp, which runs from June 17-19. Obviously, all players will be required to be at the three days of practice.
The team will then have the next month off before returning to training camp at SUNY Cortland. The team has not announced the dates of training camp, but it can begin as early as July 23. The team is also planning a family event on Long Island sometime this summer with players to be involved.
Finally, the team will kick off the preseason at home against the Indianapolis Colts on August 7. They will also play against the Cincinnati Bengals (away) on August 16, the New York Giants (home) on August 22, and the Philadelphia Eagles (away) on August 28.
