The Jets have used their 2nd round (49th pick overall) selection in the 2014 NFL Draft to acquire prospect Jace Amaro, Tight End from Texas Tech.

My personal take on the pick: This is a really great value pick, one of the best players available, and the best Tight End available far and away. Amaro like most of the other Tight Ends is a middled blocker but adds a dynamic receiving threat to the Jets offense and can contribute to the team right away. His route running is downright dangerous.
