Ian Rapoport reported yesterday that the Jets might be looking to move up in the first round. He elaborates today.
Mentioned earlier the #Jets are looking to trade up. Their target is the Top 10, and I’m told they are very hot on #LSU WR Odell Beckham.

We can never tell with 100% certainty whether reports are valid or not, but this certainly feels to me like a smokescreen. I know rankings can vary, but does anybody really believe Beckham is one of the top ten players in this Draft? And if you follow the trade value chart, moving up from 18 to 9 probably would cost something in the league of the Jets' first and second round picks and one of the fourth rounders. Is Beckham really that much better than anybody else to invest these kinds of picks?
Maybe I'll have egg on my face by the end of the week, but I'm not buying this rumor. I call shenanigans.
