Jets running back Chris Johnson says his knee injury will likely cause him to miss OTA's.
At #Jets access today, where RB Chris Johnson just said he probably will be held out of OTAs as he continues to rehab knee.

Not the end of the world, but ideally you'd like him out there to get reps in a new playbook with new teammates. It certainly would not hurt to have Johnson out there during OTA's.
Johnson also reportedly said his knee is feeling good. It clearly is not yet in top form although it might be by training camp. This is something to monitor. The knee helped to make Johnson less effective last year than is typical. There isn't really reason for major alarm yet. Part of the formula to keep Johnson in top form will be to reduce his workload and have him split carries with Chris Ivory.
