New York Jets Sign IK Enemkpali & Quincy Enunwa

Then there were seven. Jets pen two more and leave just over half a dozen to go.

Phil Sears-USA TODAY Sports

It's been a good day for the Jets being able to sign their draft picks. We have number 2 and 3 of the day and 4 & 5 overall.

This is obviously good news with rookie mini-camp starting tomorrow. It's always nice to get as many players signed up as quickly as you can.

Quincy Enunwa a receiver from Nebraska and IK Enemkpali a defensive end from Louisiana Tech will be battling for not only their roster spots but also any playing time that may come their way.

Over the cap estimates the contract numbers based on the rookie wage scale:

IK Enemkpali:

$2,298,680 total over four years, with a signing bonus of $78,680

2014: $439,670

2015: $529,670

2016: $619,670

2017: $709,670

Quincy Enunwa:

$2,298,680 total over four years, with a signing bonus of $78,680

2014: $439,670

2015: $529,670

2016: $619,670

2017: $709,670

So that is 5 in the books and 7 more to be signed.
