Manish Mehta is hearing the writing might be on the wall for Mike Goodson after the Jets' signing of Chris Johnson today.
The feeling at One Jets Drive is that RB Mike Goodson, dealing with legal issues & ACL/MCL rehab, will not be on 2014 Week 1 roster #nyj

At this point there is little incentive to get rid of Goodson. The Jets can easily afford to keep him around on his low salary. They might as well bring him to camp to see how things play out. Maybe somebody gets hurt.
With that said, he might be the odd man out. He really does not bring a whole lot to the table. Yes, he has fast, but that speed has not translated to production in the NFL. In five seasons, he has produced 500 yards from scrimmage once, and that was four years ago. The Jets gave him a prove it contract, and it was a disaster on the field and off.
Goodson probably is the odd man out as things stand right now.
