The New York Jets have been looking to add a cornerback this offseason and may be getting closer to that, as veteran Dimitri Patterson is scheduled to visit the team, ProFootballTalk reports.

The 30-year-old didn't get much field time last season, only playing in six games, but when he did he was productive as he allowed no touchdowns, defending six passes, had four interceptions and recorded a sack as well.
Patterson was released by the Miami Dolphins on March 10th because of his salary.
