The Jets had a presence at Fresno State's pro day today to take a look at a quarterback prospect.
The Jets sent multiple reps to watch Fresno State QB Derek Carr today at his pro day. #nyj

As always, it is impossible to say whether this means anything. Reviews on where Carr will be drafted are decidedly mixed. Simply sending people to watch Carr does not mean the Jets are interested or that they will like what they see. If the team is not sold on Geno Smith, the Draft is probably a better way to go than a thin market at quarterback in free agency that has gotten even thinner over the past week plus.
Then again, even if the Jets are sold on Geno, they would not be doing their job if they were not looking at a prospect they feel has potential.
