Prior to the New York Jets signing receiver Eric Decker, Gang Green had been heavily linked to the free agent. While talk of a potential Jets-Jones partnership have gotten quieter since, it was still believed that New York was very much interested in adding the former Packer to their wide receiver corp.
This leaves New York with limited options at wideout like Jacoby Ford and Sidney Rice, two free agents the Jets were linked to earlier on Monday.
