Free Agency: Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie's Physicals

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie met with both the New York Jets and New York Giants this past weekend, leaving both visits without a deal in place. However, tonight ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Rodgers-Cromartie be spending the night in the Big Apple.

Broncos CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is spending the night in New York so he can undergo a physical Monday with the Giants, per source.

This news was obviously not received well by Jets fans, as they've watched corners such as Darrelle Revis, Alterraun Verner, Captain Munnerlyn and Brandon Browner sign elsewhere during the first week of free agency.

The tone quickly changed, though, when NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported in his latest story that Rodgers-Cromartie has already undergone a physical with the Jets.

It's unclear where Rodgers-Cromartie is leaning, or if he'll wind up signing with either of the New York teams, but it will certainly be interesting to watch two teams that share a stadium fighting over the same free agent.
