Adam Schefter has more information on the contract terms for the Jets' newest wide receiver, Eric Decker.
Jets are giving former Broncos WR Eric Decker a 5-year, $36.25M deal, including $15M gtd, per source.

One of my big concerns with Decker was the idea he would get too much money. That is the way free agency works. Just look at some of the ridiculous contracts teams have given at the wide receiver position in recent years.
By contrast the money the Jets gave to Decker looks very reasonable to me, and he was pretty clearly the best wide receiver available. He will provide a big boost to what previously was arguably the worst group of wide receivers in the NFL. The Jets still probably need to bolster their group of targets even more because they were so thin, but this goes a long way to this team being able to send out a quality crew of NFL pass catchers for the first time in years.
