Pro Football Talk are reporting that defensive lineman Leger Douzable has resigned with the Jets for 2014.
Douzable was a reliable defensive tackle last season contributing 20 tackles and 1.5 sacks (although PFF have him down for 3 sacks). He played 242 snaps and was rated positively for both his pass defense and his run stuffing.
He is a good rotational defensive lineman with plenty of experience. It's not the all-star signing that we were looking for, but teams are built on a foundation of good solid depth players......and I'm happy to have Leger back.
