There is a report that QB Josh McCown, backup to the Chicago Bears, will visit the New York Jets after he first visits with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Houston Texans. Personally, I don't think he leaves Tampa Bay. You can learn more about McCown here. My guess is that McCown will be too costly, which is why I don't think I'd want him as a backup quarterback. He's also only really had one good year, under quarterback whisperer Marc Trestman. Other than that, he's been distinctly average as a quarterback.
What do you think? Should the team be pushing hard to sign McCown?
