Peyton Mannings streak of throwing a touchdown pass in 51 straight game has ended at the hands of the Blls. However even with an unneven outing by a future hall of famer, Denver were able to hang on against a Buffalo team who made it interesting.
C.J Anderson has been a superb find for a Broncos team who need to run the ball to compliment the passing game that is Manning and his assortment of weapons. C.J Anderson may not have rushed for a whole load of yards, but he found the endzone three times to ensure Denver remains on course for a #1 seed in the AFC.
We have been constantly praising the defensive line of the Bills, and although they managed to keep Manning off the board, they weren't able to put him on the ground, registering 0 sacks on the game. Kyle Orton threw two interceptions and even the positive performances from Sammy Watkins and tight end Scott Chandler couldn't rescue the Bills.
Buffalo drops to 7-6 along with a number of teams, however they still need to travel to a rejuvenated Oakland team, as well as the Patriots, and their final home game this coming Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. I'm going to guess that Buffalo misses out on the post-season again this year.
