NFL Week 14 Late Games Open Thread

Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports

We have four late afternoon kickoffs today.

The cream of the crop is probably the game between the Eagles and the Seahawks. That one pits the number four scoring offense against the number three scoring defense. Kelly vs. Carroll.

Another good game matches 7-5 Kansas City against an Arizona team still controlling the top spot in the NFC but struggling since Carson Palmer's injury.

In Oakland the Bay Area rivalry takes center stage as the Raiders host the 49ers. Expect the talking points the announcers will beat into the ground to feature Jim Harbaugh's job status and the rumors flying he is going to leave the 49ers to coach the Raiders next year.

Finally we have the Bills visiting Denver. Manning! Orton! It's the NFL on CBS! It actually does have some intrigue since Orton is a former Bronco who left Denver in less than stellar terms. Peyton Manning also is Peyton Manning so that one might be worth watching.
