Chargers vs. Patriots Open Thread

Nice Sunday night matchup with AFC playoff implications tonight.

Mark L. Baer-USA TODAY Sports
Sunday Night Football, week 14. Nearly every game this time of the season has playoff implications, and this one is no exception. Football really heats up as the weather cools down. Tonight we have the Patriots visiting the Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California. The Patriots, led by future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady, come off a tough loss at Lambeau Field against the Packers. The Pats are 9-3 and in first place in the AFC East. They are tied with the Broncos for the best record in the AFC and are vying for a number one seed and home field throughout the playoffs. The Chargers, led by star quarterback Philip Rivers, come into the game with an 8-4 record, winners of three straight, one game behind the Broncos and looking to keep their hopes of a divisional title alive. The Chargers are coming off a hard fought and emotional win against the Ravens. Enjoy the game everybody. Enjoy the excellent quarterbacks. Dream of games like this with playoff implications for the Jets. Discuss the game here.
