Here is the official injury report released by the Jets:
New York Jets
Out: Amaro (concussion), Wilkerson (toe).
Probable: TE Jeff Cumberland (illness), WR Jeremy Kerley (illness), Folk (right hip), OL Willie Colon (shoulder/knee), RB Chris Johnson (knee), DB Josh Thomas (illness).
Minnesota Vikings
Out: RB Jerick McKinnon (back).
Doubtful: LB Anthony Barr (knee), CB Jabari Price (hamstring).
Probable: TE Rhett Ellison (ankle), DT Sharrif Floyd (knee), TE Chase Ford (hamstring/foot), TE Kyle Rudolph (abdomen, groin).
I really don't mind seeing Wilkerson on the sideline at this point of the season. He is our best player by a country mile and there is absolutely no need to get him ou there and risk further injury. He has started jogging and he could return next week, but I'd tell him to take as much time as he needs. We need to attack the off-season and next season more than the final 4 games of 2014.
It's a shame to see Jace Amaro out again this week. When your season is lost, the only thing to hold onto is getting your younger players some valuable reps against active NFL defenses. He put together a very solid first year, it wasn't dominant by any means but he was starting to show signs and flashed potential to be that big athletic target. I'm looking forward to seeing him develop over the off-season and it's absolutely right to not play him if there are any lingering effects from the concussion.
It looks as though Folk will be good to go after his worst game of the season against the Dolphins.
