Jason LaCanfora reports the Jets are among three teams that have requested an interview with Seattle defensive coordinator Dan Quinn for their vacant head coaching job.
The 49ers, Falcons and Jets have requested interviews with Seattle defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. More overtures could be coming

Many consider Quinn a top head coaching candidate. He has been Seattle's defensive coordinator the past two years. Prior to that he was defensive coordinator at the University of Florida preceded by stints as defensive line coach of Seattle, the Jets under Mangini, Miami, and San Francisco.
The Seahawks are in the Playoffs, but Quinn could interview since they have a bye this week. Ironically, the deeper the Seahawks go in the postseason, the lower the odds Quinn gets a head job. At some point it would become difficult to build a staff because all of the top assistant prospects would be snatched up.
