Jets vs. Patriots Second Half Thread

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The Jets actually lead the Patriots 10-7 at the half of what figures to be Rex Ryan's home finale.

The story of the first half has been the Jets controlling the trenches. The Jets registered four sacks of Tom Brady in the game's first thirty minutes. Brady is really struggling to identify where the Jets are going to blitz from and is thus having issues setting his protection. On the other side of the ball, the big story is pass protection. The offensive line has been superlative. It has given Geno Smith an incredible amount of time, and given Geno a lot of time to make reads and settle in after a shaky start. Geno has gotten into a groove in no small part due to his protection.
