I have a simple question for you. Are you happy the Jets won?
I'm not going to sit here and lecture you on the right or wrong way to be a fan. Many real Jets fans were rooting for the team to win. Many real Jets fans were rooting for the the team to lose. Both sides are easy to understand.
Fans were rooting for the team because that's what fans tend to do. The whole point of being a fan is rooting for a team to win. Even though Draft position might have been hurt, the Jets can find a good player no matter where they choose in the first round.
On the other hand, the win didn't really do a lot for the Jets. Will anybody remember or care about this win five years from now? Probably not. Look at the two wins at the end of last season. All they really accomplished was giving the team another year of Rex Ryan. While the team can find a good player anywhere in the first round, it's indisputable there are less good players available the later a team chooses.
I'd ask you to avoid demonizing those who disagree with you. I just want to know whether you are happy the Jets won.
