NY Jets @ Kansas City Chiefs: Offensive Snap Counts

The Jets dropped to 1-8 last night with a defeat in Kansas City. We'll take a look at who played on offense and how often.

Peter Aiken

There really isn't much to say that hasn't already been said. We are a very poor football team and that's why we are 1-8 and we'll likely break the franchise record for consecutive losses next week against the Steelers.

This roster needs a lot of work done to it and I don't envy the job we'll need to do this off-season. The offense looked a little better but still only put up 10 points, that's simply not going to get it done.

Player Position Snaps % of Snap Counts
D'Brickashaw Ferguson OT 69 100%
Oday Aboushi OG 69 100%
Nick Mangold C 69 100%
Willie Colon OG 69 100%
Breno Giacomini OT 69 100%
Eric Decker WR 64 93%
Percy Harvin WR 58 84%
Michael Vick QB 58 84%
Jeff Cumberland TE 53 77%
Jeremy Kerley WR 39 57%
Jace Amaro TE 35 51%
Chris Johnson RB 26 38%
Bilal Powell RB 22 32%
Chris Ivory RB 17 25%
Matt Simms QB 11 16%
John Connor FB 10 14%
Zach Zudfeld TE 7 10%
T.J Graham WR 6 9%
Greg Salas WR 6 9%
Ben Ijalana OT 1 2%

It's disappointing to see Amaro completely shut out, despite being in over 50% of the offensive snaps. Decker looks healthy and I actually quite like the 1/2 punch of Eric and Percy. We did stay with the hot hand after Ivory was ineffective which is at least a positive. I still think we have very serious deficiencies on the offensive line that we desperately need to address.
