Patriots vs. Colts Open Thread

Will the Pats suck for Luck?

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

Sunday Night Football, week 11. It's the Patriots vs. the Colts at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts. The Patriots, led by resurgent future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady, come into the game firmly in control of the AFC East division and with the best record in the AFC. Brady, after an ice cold start to the season, has been on fire lately and is having his best season in years. The Patriots, at 7-2, are playing for best overall record in the AFC and home field throughout the playoffs. The Colts come into the game at 6-3 and sit atop the weak AFC South division. The Colts feature wunderkind Andrew Luck at quarterback, who replaced Peyton Manning in Indianapolis. Luck is an incredibly prolific passer, having passed for more than 300 yards in all but one game this year. He is currently on pace for nearly 5500 passing yards and 46 touchdowns, which would be one of the greatest seasons an NFL quarterback has ever had. With Brady a certain future Hall of Famer at the top of his game and Luck a likely Hall of Famer if he remains healthy, this matchup is as good as it gets. Dueling in what could be an AFC Championship game preview, this is the old generation vs. the new, Brady vs. Luck, a legendary shootout a distinct possibility. Enjoy the game everybody. Envy the quarterbacks. Dream of better times for the Jets. Discuss the game here.
