This week Marshall Faulk asks us to add one legend to this roster.
Okay @SBNation, this one’s for all teams: Add a football legend to your roster. What happens? http://t.co/ZYWdJccARv #GMCPlaybook

The answer has to be at the quarterback position. In today's NFL a team doesn't necessarily need a great quarterback to compete, but it is next to impossible to compete without a good quarterback. That's a lesson for today, and it should be a lesson for the Jets as we move into the offseason and particularly the Draft.
Faulk isn't clear on whether this needs to be a legend who played for the Jets. Let's assume he is. The only choice in that case is Joe Namath.
I'd like to close with a couple of friendly reminders not to listen to people who tell you Joe Namath wasn't a legit Hall of Famer. It isn't true.
