Monday Night Football 2014, week 8. Tonight we have Washington visiting Dallas at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. This is one of the most storied and heated rivalries in NFL history, going all the way back to the early 1970s when the two teams annually duked it out for division supremacy. Landry vs. Allen, Staubach vs. Kilmer and Jurgensen. These two teams really can't stand each other. Now we have the modern rivalry, and some of the juice is lacking because Washington just isn't a very good football team at 2-5. Nonetheless Washington has some very serious weapons in Alfred Morris, Pierre Garcon, DeSean Jackson, Andre Roberts and Jordan Reed. That's firepower to spare, dangerous enough to pose a threat to any team on any given Sunday. Dallas comes into the game at 6-1, vying for the claim of being the best team in football, behind a massive and superb offensive line, a great running back in DeMarco Murray, a superb receiver in Dez Bryant, and a much maligned but highly prolific quarterback in Tony Romo. This one has the makings of a shootout if Washington can manage some decent quarterback play. Enjoy the game, enjoy football under the lights. Discuss the game here.
