Lions vs. Falcons Game Thread

Wake up everyone, it's early morning football from across the pond.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Sunday Morning Football, across the pond. It's the Lions vs. the Falcons at Wembley Stadium in London, England. The NFL's annual trek across the ocean to try to sell Europeans football with that funny oblong pointy ball. Weird game time, starting at 9:30 a.m EDT, which makes for a gluttonous day of football, comprising almost 15 hours of nearly nonstop action. Although the records in this game suggest a mismatch with the Lions at 5-2 and the Falcons struggling at 2-5, the Falcons are an always dangerous team with weapons like Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Roddy White. This one features two potent young quarterbacks hooking up in what could be a great shootout. Matthew Stafford, always dangerous but often disappointing, against Matt Ryan, with a prolific individual career but little in the way of playoff success to show for it. Dueling young quarterbacks in their prime slinging it. The Falcons fighting for their lives, the Lions fighting to win their division.

Enjoy the quarterbacks, enjoy the passing, enjoy great receivers, hope for the best for a Megatron appearance. Enjoy the game everyone. Enjoy your tea and crumpets. Discuss the game here.
