The Jets played a pretty spirited first half. They trail Denver 17-7, though.
The defense looked pretty good for most of the half. The defensive line seemed to make Peyton Manning uncomfortable. Peyton doesn't like it when he is forced to move his throwing platform, and the Jets did that plenty. There were lots of ducks, and it seemed like Manning had a case of happy feet at times. Unfortunately we are probably at a point where only trailing Denver by 10 is a moral victory, but the Jets are at least playing hard and showing some signs of life.
We do need to see more signs of life from a Jets offense that has been largely silent after an early touchdown drive.
