Super Bowl XLVIII: Denver Broncos vs. Seattle Seahawks

New, comments
Doug Pensinger

We now know the teams that will be coming to New York to play in Super Bowl XLVIII. The Denver Broncos spared us all the indignity of watching the Patriots take over the Jets' facilities and Tom Brady and Bill Belichick try to win a championship on the Jets' home field today. They will face the Seattle Seahawks, who won a classic NFC Championship Game over the San Francisco 49ers.

My Super Bowl pick has been Denver for most of the year. I think they're the best team in the NFL. I also think this matchup favors them. Denver has so many weapons that it is going to be very difficult for the Seahawks to totally shut them down. I don't like this Seattle offense to score with Peyton Manning, and Denver has a good run defense. It should be a really good game, though. I wouldn't be shocked to see the Seahawks win it all.
