All remaining assistant coaches whose contracts expired are apparently returning.
Jets make it official: All remaining assistant coaches w/expiring contracts have returned. Bobby April III promoted to LBs coach. #nyj

The last two years have seen major changes to the coaching staff. This year little will change. The Jets still need a new special teams coach since Ben Kotwica left for the same position with the Washington Redskins.
No complaints here. The coaching staff did a pretty good job in 2013 despite having an undermanned roster virtually everywhere except on the defensive line. Moreover, this indicates Rex Ryan is allowed to pick his staff, which is how it should be.
The timing of this makes sense. It comes days after Rex's contract extension was completed.
What are your thoughts? Is there anybody you would have liked to see not return to the New York Jets in 2014?
