AFC East Rookie Snap Counts

How did the New York Jets' rookies stack up in the AFC East?

Debby Wong-USA TODAY Sports

Now that the season is over, we can look at the amount of snaps played by rookies in the AFC East during the 2013 NFL season. As you'll see, the New York Jets have the most amount of snaps by members of their draft class, but where the New England Patriots struck gold was with their undrafted free agents, who had more snaps than their drafted counterparts. I'm not so sure that's something to brag about though, because A) the drafted players are paid more, and B) in a sense if you get production from your UDFAs, you're lucky, because if you thought highly enough of them as prospects, you would have drafted them.

In any case, the Jets got good production out of their rookies. The numbers can get a little tricky as this only accounts for offense and defense, and not special teams, simply because those numbers were not available. If any mistakes were made, please let me know and I will correct them.
